i need your help.
we were just told a little while ago by our psychologist that the report the sna needs for him to write "will take a long time to write".
seriously?
this is the same report that i spent around 4 days gathering information, pasting it into fact sheets and emailing to him. the information i located is 12 pages in length. with all contact information and photos and details of services available to us.
all he needs to do is combine it into a report. make it look official. sign it. notarize it. call me to come and pick it up.
but there is actually a lot more at stake here than a report written by a psychologist.
there is some trickle down happening in peru that could cause everything to come to a screeching halt.
the prime minister of peru has stepped down. that individual elects a cabinet. part of the cabinet is the director of mimdes. when this person changes most likely so will the secretary of adoption, the head of the sna. when the sna director changes everything will stop. completely. new questions will be asked. files will need to be reviewed yet again.
it's like giving a mouse a cookie or giving a moose a muffin, only a really bad version.
at the very least, the matching meeting will not happen for a month or two with restructuring takes place.
so for us to beat all of the changes we need this documents immediately...if not sooner.
on top of the 12 pages i put together for the psychologist, we wrote a report that is 6 pages long.
here is where i need your help...
will you pray?
will you pray that the psychologist will write this report quickly?
will you pray that the documents will be apostilled quickly?
will you pray that the sna will accept the documents and match us with little man and little lady quickly?
God knows the cry of our heart. He is able to do this.
"why do you complain, Jacob? why do you say, israel, “my way is hidden from the LORD; my cause is disregarded by my God”? do you not know? have you not heard? the LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and His understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. isaiah 40:27-29
i will trust. i will have faith. i will hold onto hope.
and i might just bug him a little bit by email too!
Praying for a very restless night - one in which he cannot stop thinking about your report - so that he will get up in the morning and just get it DONE.
ReplyDeleteWhy don't you give us all his e-mail address?? ;o)
ReplyDeleteYes - I am praying!
ReplyDeleteWill keep on praying. Adoption is just a string of uncertainty...one stressful situation after another (as you WELL know). I remember that misery too well. In your corner!!!!
ReplyDeletePaige, I have stopped and prayed and will continue to do so as your little lady and little man come to mind.
ReplyDeleteI am praying for you, your family and everyone involved to get it all moving quickly as to God's plan.
